Dr Rohit Bhardwaj

Consultant Psychiatrist

20+ years of experience

Dr Rohit Bhardwaj is a Consultant General Adult Psychiatrist who works with adults experiencing a broad range of mental health difficulties, including ADHD, bipolar affective disorder, depression, anxiety disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder. He supports clients who want a careful psychiatric assessment, a clear understanding of what may be contributing to their difficulties, and an evidence-based treatment plan that takes account of their individual circumstances.

Dr Rohit is a Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and brings extensive experience in the assessment and treatment of adults across the full range of major psychiatric disorders. His work is grounded in careful assessment and thoughtful formulation, with close attention to the complexity and individuality of each person’s presentation.

Alongside his general adult psychiatry work, Dr Rohit has particular expertise in the assessment and management of adult ADHD. He works in line with rigorous clinical guidelines to ensure that clients receive high-quality, evidence-based care, while remaining attentive to developments in the field and integrating emerging evidence into his clinical practice where appropriate.

Dr Rohit works within a biopsychosocial framework, considering not only symptoms and diagnosis, but also personal history, psychological patterns, personality characteristics, relationships, lifestyle, and individual preferences. He also has a strong interest in psychological therapies, which allows him to think carefully about how medication, psychological treatment, and wider support may fit together as part of a coherent treatment plan.

His style is thoughtful, collaborative, and clinically grounded. He offers a discreet and carefully considered psychiatric approach for adults who want clarity, accuracy, and practical direction. His work supports clients to better understand their mental health, consider appropriate treatment options, and move forward with a plan that is evidence-based, respectful, and tailored to their needs.
