Dr Sarah-Jane Khalid is a highly qualified Counselling Psychologist, Coach, and Meditation Teacher with extensive experience working across the NHS, charitable organisations, and private practice. She brings a wealth of knowledge to her work, combining evidence-based psychological therapies with coaching and meditation to provide clients with a comprehensive and holistic approach to wellbeing.
Sarah-Jane has undertaken advanced training in multiple therapeutic modalities. She is skilled in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Behavioural Activation, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). By integrating these approaches, she is able to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs, whether the focus is on reducing symptoms, building resilience, or fostering personal growth.
Her specialist areas include anxiety, stress management, low self-esteem, workplace challenges, dermatological conditions, and a wide range of women’s health concerns. She has particular expertise in supporting women through fertility challenges, post-natal depression and anxiety, peri-menopause, and menopause. Sarah-Jane also enjoys working with clients from Black, Asian, and minority ethnic communities, bringing cultural sensitivity and an appreciation of the nuanced challenges they may face.
In recent years, Sarah-Jane has expanded her expertise into meditation teaching, completing training with the British School of Meditation and the Chopra Centre in the US. She integrates meditation and aspects of positive psychology into her therapeutic work, providing clients with additional tools to improve emotional balance, clarity, and overall wellbeing.
