10+ years of experience
Dr Jessica Gash is an experienced HCPC-registered Counselling Psychologist with extensive experience providing psychological therapy across NHS, charity, and private settings. She brings a compassionate, evidence-based approach to her work, supporting individuals through a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties.
Jessica works primarily with adults and has particular expertise in both historic and recent trauma. She also has specialist experience supporting neurodivergent clients, individuals experiencing emotional dysregulation, and those struggling with disordered eating. Alongside this, she works with anxiety, low mood, post-traumatic stress and complex PTSD, attachment-related difficulties, relational challenges, low self-esteem, and difficulties related to sense of self.
Her therapeutic approach is integrative and highly individualised, drawing on a range of evidence-based psychological models to meet each client’s unique needs. Jessica is trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Person-Centred Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. This breadth allows her to work flexibly and responsively, adapting therapy as clients’ needs evolve over time.
At the heart of Jessica’s work is the belief that meaningful change develops within a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship. She is known for her warm, down-to-earth, and non-judgemental manner, creating a space where clients feel genuinely heard and understood.
