About

Dr Jo Stuart is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with over 25 years of experience working with adults and older teenagers. She has extensive expertise in anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, health anxiety, chronic pain, stress, and relationship challenges, and has particular experience supporting C-level executives, consultants, professionals, and those in the public eye.


Alongside her clinical work, Jo provides supervision and training to other psychologists, ensuring her practice remains informed by the latest research and evidence-based approaches. She is trained in a wide range of therapeutic models, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Couples Counselling, Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), and Systemic Therapy.


Jo also has specialist expertise in supporting clients from diverse backgrounds, including those within the LGBTQ+ community, and is committed to providing an inclusive and affirming therapeutic environment. Her approach is compassionate, collaborative, and flexible.
